Tia Hallibel - released

The Tercera Espada. I worked forever on her face in this one, and to me it still doesn’t look right. Oh well, tried my best on this one. Maybe I can fix the face another time. Anyway, just like with her unreleased form I tried to figure out how each piece of armor interacted with another while drawing this pic. Of course since the armor doesn’t cover much that wasn’t too hard.

It took a while to decide on a background for this one. I had the sky already done, but hadn’t figured out anything else. Then I remember an old Japanese print I saw in my art history class years ago. Hence the stylized waves in the background in front of Mt. Fuji. I really wish I could remember the name of that print though so I could cite it here.
